Mr.Alasdair Alexander Mac Arthur

麦克阿瑟校长

麦克阿瑟先生在长春圣约翰公学任中学部校长。他出生于英国，在谢菲尔德大学获得教育学硕士及英国教师资格证(PGCE)，现在继续在任职期间攻读白金汉大学的教育领导力与管理硕士学位。麦克阿瑟先生在中国有着丰富的教学管理经验，曾在佛山、杭州等多所国际化学校任教学主管，负责IGCSE和A Level的教学组织与评估、学生关怀体系的搭建、跨文化团队的领导以及教学水平的评定。同时，他对英语教学有着深刻的理解，持有语言教学国际(IDLTM)以及剑桥大学语言教师(CELTA)，同时是一位TESOL官方认证的培训师。麦克阿瑟校长笃信国际化教育为人生带来的价值，并希望培养学生的自信力、沟通力和解决问题的能力。在业余生活中，麦克阿瑟校长喜爱攀岩、潜水和足球等运动。

Mr. Mac Arthur is the Head of Senior School at St John’s College Changchun. Born in the UK, he completed his Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at Sheffield University and is now working towards his MEd Educational Leadership and Management Degree at University of Buckingham. Mr. Mac Arthur has a wealth of experience in educational leadership in China, with previous posts in international schools in Hangzhou and Foshan. He has been responsible for managing delivery of the IGCSE and A Level curriculum, leading a cross cultural team, assessing teaching quality and establishing a pastoral care system. He also has deep understanding in English teaching, being a TESOL trainer and with IDLTM and CELTA qualifications. Mr. Mac Arthur believes in the tremendous value that an international style education brings to the lives of pupils and aims to cultivate pupils with confidence, independence, strong communication skills and problem-solving spirit. In his private life, Mr. Mac Arthur enjoys rock climbing, SCUBA diving and football.

Ms.Bryony Thayre

赛尔女士

赛尔女士在长春圣约翰公学任职英语学科带头人。她出生于英国，毕业于牛津大学享誉全球的哲学、政治及经济专业(PPE)，该专业诞生了许多世界政坛的巨星，如英国前首相卡梅伦、澳大利亚前首相阿博特、巴基斯坦现任总理伊姆兰·汗、泰国前总理克立·巴莫等。赛尔女士对英语有着发自内心的喜爱以及深刻的理解，在学生时代就获得了A Level英国文学A、GCSE英国文学及英语语言A*的成绩。自2008年起，她就从事英语教学工作，并在2012年获得英语第二语言教学的TEFL和TESOL双料认证。在12年的教学生涯中，她帮助过数千名学生，积累了大量教授国际学生的经验。在教学生活之外，赛尔女士喜欢到世界各地参与志愿活动，她的足迹遍布澳洲、北美、南美和非洲等地。

Ms. Thayre is the Head of English at St John’s College Changchun. She was born in the UK and gained her Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) degree from Oxford University. PPE is a renowned programme with many alumni as globally recognised politicians such as David Cameron (former Prime Minister of the UK), Tony Abbott (former Prime Minister of Australia), Imran Khan (current Prime Minister of Pakistan) and Kukrit Pramoj (former Prime Minister of Thailand) etc. Ms.Thayre has deep interest in English and extended understanding of this subject area. During her student times, she gained an A in A-Level English Literature, and A* in both GCSE English Language and English Literature. She started her career in English teaching since 2008 and gained TEFL and TESOL accreditation in 2012. In her 12 years of being an English teacher, Ms. Thayre has helped thousands of students and obtained a wealth of experience in helping international learners. Outside her teaching career, Ms. Thayre likes to travel and get involved in voluntary activities, with footsteps in North and South America, Australasia and Africa.

Mr.Roy Lane

莱恩先生

莱恩先生在长春圣约翰公学任职科学学科带头人，并教授化学和生物科目。他来自英国，1991年获得应用化学学士学位并在毕业后前往剑桥大学参与合成有机化学的研究。他是英国皇家化学协会的成员，并4次获得荣誉嘉奖。离开剑桥大学后，他先后到肯特大学和伦敦大学担任化学讲师，并在2004年来到中国。在主攻化学和生物教学的同时，为了更好地帮助国际学生，他还学习并获得了剑桥大学语言教师(CELTA)。在华期间，他曾担任成都墨尔文国际学校及宁波赫德双语学校的科学学科带头人、上海外国语大学贤达学院A Level中心助理学术校长、领科广州校区生物学科带头人等职位。在科学教学之外，莱恩先生还掌握法语，并在学生时代代表大学及学校多次出战足球、高尔夫、橄榄球、板球、赛艇等赛事。

Mr. Lane is the Head of Science at St John’s College Changchun and delivers teaching in Chemistry and Biology. He is from the UK and gained his Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Chemistry in 1991. Upon graduation, Mr. Lane became an Organic Synthetic Medicinal Chemist at the Parke-Davis Neuroscience Research Centre of Cambridge University. He is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and has received 4 honour designations. Later on, he also lectured undergraduate and postgraduate students at University of Kent and University of London. Mr. Lane came to China in 2004 and then he gained CELTA qualification in order to better help international students. During his time in China, he took the positions of Head of Science at Malvern College Chengdu and HD Bilingual School Ningbo, as well as Assistant to Academic Principal at Xianda College, Shanghai International Studies University and Head of Biology at U-Link College Guangzhou. In addition to science teaching, Mr. Lane is also a French speaker and has represented town, school and university at football, cricket, golf, rowing and rugby.

Ms.Hephzibah Leo

立奥女士

立奥女士在长春圣约翰公学任职物理教师。她是一位的物理学专家，获应用物理硕士学位，并有望在2021年获得物理学博士学位。1999年以全校第二名的成绩获得硕士学位后，立奥女士进入印度理工学院担任研究项目组负责人。印度理工学院在学术界具有的声誉，在泰晤士报排名中名列印度，被称为印度“科学皇冠上的瑰宝”，是印度较的工程教育与研究机构，知友有谷歌CEO皮扎伊、甲骨文公司联合创始人尤曼格·古普塔等。立奥女士的研究领域包括光纤和材料研究。自2006年起，立奥女士开始在许多大学任讲师、教授并获得了多项荣誉。在2018年，立奥女士成为了一名IB教师。在来到长春前，她在上海浦东万科双语学校负责物理教学。

Ms. Leo is the Physics Teacher at St John’s College Changchun. She is an experienced physicist with a Master’s degree in Applied Physics and is expecting to obtain her Doctor’s degree in Physics in 2021. Upon graduation from her Master’s programme being ranked 2nd in her University in 1999, Ms. Leo worked towards a Project Associate role in Indian Institute of Technology. Ranked as the best institute in India by Times, Indian Institute of Technology has world class reputation, with reputable alumni such as Sundar Pichai, the current CEO of Google, and Umang Gupta, co-founder of Oracle. Her research interests covered optics and material sciences. Since 2006, Ms. Leo started lecturing at a number of reputable universities and won several teaching rewards. In 2008, Ms. Leo became an IB teacher. Prior to coming to Changchun, she was a Physics teacher at Vanke Bilingual School in Shanghai.

Ms. Nokuthula Nyanyiwa

奈尼瓦女士

奈尼瓦女士在长春圣约翰公学任职经济与商科教师。她毕业于莫纳什大学，获经济学学士学位，现在继续在任职期间攻读英国苏格兰赫瑞?瓦特大学的工商管理硕士(MBA)学位。她学习及研究的领域包括经济、财务、市场、领导力、组织行为学、项目管理及战略管理。奈尼瓦女士从2016年开始成为IGCSE教师，并保持了班上学士的。

Ms.Nyanyiwa is the Business and Economics Teacher at St John’s College Changchun. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Monash University. Ms.Nyanyiwa is also currently working on her Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Herriot-Watt University in Scotland. Her study and research areas include Economics, Finance, Marketing, Leadership, Organisational Behaviour, Project Management and Strategic Management. Ms Nyanyiwa became an IGCSE teacher in 2016 and has achieved a pass record for pupils in her class.
