Mr.Phillip Birch

博奇先生

博奇先生在长春圣约翰公学任职小学部校长。他来自英国，获英国博尔顿大学全纳教育学硕士、中央兰开夏大学健康与教育学学士学位，持有英国教师资格证(PGCE)。1998年硕士毕业后，他投身于大学教育，在中央兰开夏大学、哥比亚大学等校教授健康及教育相关课程。2009年起，他从一个学者转变为一个教育实践家，先后在多所英国本土学校参与教学管理，推崇并致力于在教学管理中实践全纳教育和全人教育理念。2016年起，他被英国墨尔文学院聘请作为该校开罗分校的创校成员，并负责该校对新教师的培养。2019年，博奇先生成为了上海浦东万科双语学校的小学部学术校长，并负责该校的英语教学及特殊教育部门。博奇校长具有开放包容的教育情怀和扎实的理论基础。他持有多个体育及教育心理学、儿童权益保护等相关及爱德思管理。

Mr. Birch is the Head of Junior School at St John’s College Changchun. He is from the UK and holds a MEd Degree in Inclusive Education from University of Bolton, a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Education and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). Upon graduation in 1998, he lectured Health and Education related programmes in various institutions including University of Central Lancashire and University of Cumbria. In 2009, he left Higher Education and gained first hand teaching and management experience in a number of primary schools in Britain, putting his ideas in inclusive and holistic education into practice. Since 2016, he was hired by Malvern College UK as a member of the founding team for their school in Cairo of Egypt. He also became responsible for the development of new teachers, being a mentor on their iPGCE programme. In 2019, Mr. Birch became the Primary Head of Academics and Head of EAL and SEN at Vanke Bilingual School in Shanghai. Mr. Birch has an open educational mindset and considerable theory in pedagogy. He holds several certificates in physical education, educational psychology and safeguarding, as well as Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Award in Management.

Ms.Hannah Selvey

赛尔维女士

赛尔维女士在长春圣约翰公学任职小学教师。她出生于英国，毕业于伯明翰大学，获经济学与西班牙语一等学士学位。在学生时代，她在GCSE期间获得了八门学科的A*及三门学科的A成绩，在各个学科均有良好的知识储备。作为一位年轻的教师，赛尔维女士对学生充满热情。她擅长科学、数学、英语等学科的教学，并熟练使用西班牙语。赛尔维女士持有TEFL英语教学。在主科教学之余，她还热衷于跑步及赛艇，并在英国的三峰挑战赛中完成过全程马拉松。

Ms.Selvey is a Junior School teacher at St John’s College Changchun.Born in the UK, she obtained a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with Spanish from University of Birmingham.During her student time, she gained A* in 8 subjects and A in 3 subjects, which gave her a very broad knowledge base in many subject areas. As a young teacher, Ms.Selvey is always passionate in her teaching. She is particularly strong in Science, Mathematics and English, and is fluent in Spanish. Ms.Selvey is TEFL qualified. Outside her main teaching areas,Ms.Selvey is also interested in running and rowing and managed to complete a full marathon in the Three Peaks Challenge in the UK.

Mr.Adriaan van der Merwe

范德莫维先生

范德莫维先生在长春圣约翰公学任职小学教师。他出生于教育世家，所有家庭成员都是教师、校长和学者。他在南非自由州大学获得教育学学士学位后，投身于中小学教育，并在3所学校有了9年在英联邦教学体系下的科学和英语教学经验。他是一位教学多面手，持有南非政府颁发的国际教师资格证，并且拥有急救(First Aid)。除了主科教学外，他也是一位经验丰富的体育教师，持有英式橄榄球(Rugby)和英式板球(Cricket)教练。

Mr. Van der Merwe is a Junior School teacher at St John’s College Changchun. He is from a family with strong tradition in education, with all family members as educators. Upon graduation with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, he has obtained a career teaching Technology and English for 9 years at 3 schools. Mr. Van der Merwe is a broad teacher and has a Certificate of Registration from the South African Council for Educators (SACE). He also has a certificate in First Aid. In addition to teaching his main subjects, Mr. Van der Merwe is also an experienced PE teacher, with coaching qualifications in Cricket and Rugby.

范德莫维女士

范德莫维女士在长春圣约翰公学任职小学教师。她在南非自由州大学获得教育学学士学位后，投身于小学教育，并在3所学校有了英联邦教学体系下丰富的数学、英语等科目教学经验。她教学领域十分广泛，持有南非政府颁发的国际教师资格证，拥有急救(First Aid)，并持有艺术心理治疗、学习多样性、小学生活技能培养等多项认证。除了主科教学外，她也是一位经验丰富体育教师，持有英式无板篮球(Netball)和曲棍球(Hockey)教练。

Ms. Van der Merwe is a Junior School teacher at St John’s College Changchun. After graduation with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from University of Free State, she taught subjects including Mathematics and English in 3 schools. She covers a broad range of subject areas andhas a Certificate of Registration from the South African Council for Educators (SACE). She also has a certificate in First Aid,as well as qualifications in Art Therapy, Learner Diversity and Life Skills in the Foundation Phase. In addition to teaching her main subjects, Ms. Van der Merwe is also an experienced PE teacher, with coaching qualifications in Netball and Hockey.
